Name an MLM company that dominates the NON-MLM companies around the globe.

Are you stumped?

Does Amway sell more cleaning products than Proctor & Gamble?…no.

Does Primerica sell more insurance than Allstate?…sorry.

Would you be encouraged to be aligned with an MLM company that created and distributed more if its product than its non-MLM competitors?

I would.

Considering than over 90% of all MLM products are also available (in a variety of forms, brands, and variations) from the traditional sales venues, any MLM company that could boast beating traditional manufacturers, distributors and retailers would be quite a success story.

Forever Living Products does just that.

The story of Forever Living Products begins with one man and an ambitious dream. For years, Rex Maughan had been searching for a business idea that would bring together the two biggest goals in his life: better health and financial freedom. In 1978, he found what he was looking for and invited 43 people to attend the first-ever Forever Living Products meeting in Tempe, Arizona. From this single event, a journey was launched that would lead to unimaginable business success.

Does his company create and sell a single product? No. Like any successful billion dollar business, they have a full catalog of products. The difference is, most of their products have Aloe Vera as an ingredient. Forever Living is the world’s largest grower, manufacturer and distributor of aloe vera. It offers a complete line of aloe vera drinks, skincare products and cosmetics, as well as a full line of nutritional supplements and products from beehives.

Reviewing the company, I found a few items that made me feel extremely comfortable recommending this enterprise to anyone who could catch their vision. It wasn’t the compensation plan, the universal appeal and acceptance of Aloe Vera or the incredible $2 billion dollars in annual revenue the company brings in. Similar to my previous reviews of other top MLM companies, this one has a founder with impeccable heart and integrity.

Rex Maughan started out with a dream for health and wealth. However, because of living a value-driven life, his success did not corrupt him or take his company off of the path of success. There was no derailment of power and money for Rex. His foundation of charity and service were evident BEFORE he started his company and he continues his service to this day.

When Rex served as a missionary on the Samoan Islands in the South Pacific, the author Robert Louis Stevenson, who spent his final years of life there, first captured Rex’s imagination. He developed such a great respect for the Samoan people and their land, that decades later they established the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum and Preservation Foundation for the restoration of Stevenson’s 1890 island plantation home in Apia, Samoa. Today, the museum is a primary attraction for tourists, local visitors and school children.

For Rex, the accolades couldn’t have been any sweeter. Married to Ruth, with 3 children and 12 grandchildren, he has achieved remarkable success in many fields, none more important than his work in the South Pacific where he was awarded the High Chief title of Tilafaiga for his efforts to save the rain forest.

If you choose to sell Forever Living products, recruit and train your sales force, be sure to always create a steady stream of quality leads for your business.
